Who we are

This site is operated by Soundessence Ltd. (成音貿易有限公司, Taiwan business ID 60624259), the Taiwan distributor of HONGSHU Audio. Contact: server@soundessence.com.tw.

What we collect

When you order: your name, email address, phone number (optional), shipping address, country and any notes you add.
Payment results from PAYUNi, such as the payment method and whether the payment succeeded. We never see or store your card number; card details are entered on PAYUNi's secure payment page.
Basic technical data our server needs to run and protect the site, such as your IP address, kept with the order to help prevent fraud and abuse.

This site does not use advertising or analytics trackers. The only cookie is a technical one used while the site is in private preview.

How we use it

To process your payment, ship your order and send you order emails (confirmation, payment, shipping, cancellation).
To provide returns and warranty service.
To keep the accounting records required by Taiwanese law.

We do not send marketing emails and we do not sell your data.

Who we share it with

PAYUNi (統一金流), our payment provider, to process your payment.
The courier that delivers your parcel, which needs your name, address and phone number.
Brevo, the service we use to send order emails.
LINE, only if you choose to contact us there.

Order data is also kept in our own internal order system in Taiwan.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed for warranty service and for the period required by Taiwanese tax and accounting rules.
