Terms of sale
The short version: you pay the price shown, we ship from Taiwan with import tax included, and we stand behind the product for 12 months.
Seller
Orders on this site are sold by Soundessence Ltd. (成音貿易有限公司, Taiwan business ID 60624259), the Taiwan distributor of HONGSHU Audio. Address: No. 36-126, Taibao, Chiayi County 612, Taiwan. Email: server@soundessence.com.tw.
Product and price
This site sells the HONGSHU Audio EH-1 & EHA-1 electrostatic headphone system (V4) for US$699 per set, plus a flat US$90 per set for shipping and import tax. You can order up to 3 sets per order. The price you see on the order page before paying is the price you pay.
Payment and currency
Payments are processed by PAYUNi, a licensed payment provider in Taiwan. Your card or wallet is charged in New Taiwan Dollars, converted from the US dollar total at the fixed rate shown on the order page (currently US$1 = NT$32). Your card issuer converts the charge to your currency and may add a foreign transaction fee, which is outside our control. We never see your card number.
Order confirmation
Your order is confirmed when payment succeeds and we email you a payment confirmation. If we cannot fulfil an order, for example because stock has run out, we will tell you and refund the full amount.
Shipping and import tax
We ship by tracked international express from Taiwan within 3 business days of payment. Import tax is included in the US$90 shipping and import tax charge, so there is nothing more to pay on delivery. Details are on the shipping page.
Returns
You may request a return within 7 days of delivery if the item is unused and complete. Return shipping for non-defective returns is paid by the buyer, and the original shipping and import tax are not refundable. If the item is defective or damaged in transit, we cover shipping both ways. See the shipping page for how to return.
Warranty
Sets shipped outside Taiwan carry a 12-month international warranty from delivery against manufacturing defects. For repairs you ship the item to us in Taiwan and we pay the return shipping to you. Damage from accidents, liquid, misuse, self-repair or modification, and consumables such as earpads are not covered. This warranty does not affect any rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
